Jai Guru!
Puri has its own spiritual vibrations since The Jagannath Temple has been attracting pilgrims and Holy Souls for more than a thousand years.
The Karar Ashram has a very special place in our hearts as Guruji and Yukteshwarji stayed there for quite some time. You can meditate at the very same places and relive some of the moments mentioned in the Autobiography of a Yogi.
The YSS Puri Ashram is a small and quiet place and a great place to accommodate a small group of devotees. The the hospitality of our sevaks and blessings of the Gurus really made it a warm and blissful experience for us.
The document below is prepared to assist devotees who want to visit our Puri Ashram. After talking to our Sevaks there, I realized that most devotees went to the Ashram to meditate and also to see Puri.
The itineraries are scheduled such that a devotee can meditate in the morning, have breakfast and then visit some place and still be back in the Ashram for the evening meditation.

Thanks for the itinerary. Will be very helpful for first timers to Puri.
Thank you for sharing about Puri Ashram.. i was not aware and will certainly try to relive some of the moments mentioned in Autobiography of a Yogi
a highly spiritual joy overpower the devotees of yss when ever one reaches any place who belongs to our beloved guru ji and great gurus. last year i was at babaji cave and had spiritual ecstacy.

Thanks, Abhijit for posting this very useful info.
Thanks very much for the detailed information. JAI GURU
Indeed Puri is blessed with Swami Sri Yukteswarji’s Grave presence in the Ocean Roar, with our Guruji’s trained ashram at the beach side called Karar Ashram.
I visited this Holy Place, and felt as if I am in the presence of Swami Yukteswarji. My Daughter’s Aksharara Byas I have made at this place only, since Swamiji is Avatar of Jnana.
But to add little bit wordly ignorance of the people who are maintaining this ashram (they seems to be from Swami Yukteswarji’s Family realatives ie., Descendents of Karar Dynansty), they won’t treat us good if we say we are disciples of Sri Sri Paramansa Yogananda (YSS), and they denied to serve food after we told this, anyways these are very pitty issues before the Swamiji’s Eternity.
Thanks
